Which Pistol

Post by Christel »

If no one shoots a 6M then what sort of pistol do you shoot?

More to the point, why.

I am thinking of getting an "air" so picking brains :)

Hi Christel.
Normally I’m shooting my FWB 65 because I’m a springer enthusiast and it was my competition pistol since I was 14. This week I tried my czech LOV 21 which I really like. Despite being on the lighter site it is really easy to shoot because of its excellent trigger.

herr_svensson, thank you for your reply.
That looks like a really light weight pistol, easy to manage. Being CZ is definitely not a bad thing these days, a lot of good products are coming out of CZ.

How many shots can you get out of a CO2 capsule?

The LOV 21 comes with two adapters for 12g CO2 and 8g N2 capsules. I use her with the N2 capsules. I never really counted but I estimate about 50 to 60 shots.
I promise to count next time. 😄
Best regards,
Jörg

I think about 50 with the 8g capsule, and 80 with the 12g according to what I have seen online.

Hello folks.
This time I counted:
After shot number 53 the LOV blew of the rest of its gas.
Best regards,
Jörg

Another advantage of the LOV is, that you get a lot of practice until the cartridge is empty... :D

Thank you for counting. So Gary was not that far wrong with his guess of 50.

That picture shows dedication :)

I have been looking at several pistols - not sure yet. I enjoy shooting the 6M however would like to try something else.

We have a Gamo Compact in the house, I am not that keen on it. It shoots well, it is ever so heavy to close though.

Tried two different pistols today...
I think I stick to my FWB 65. 😁
